Compression test

Please leave the compression testing of packaged and wrapped cargo to JBL. The maximum size of the test item is 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 1.2 m.

We evaluate how much packaged goods can withstand compressive loads that occur during storage in warehouses and logistics centers. In this contracted testing service, we reproduce the compressive loads caused by stacking during warehouse storage using a compression testing machine. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ Customers in a hurry, please contact us using the "Contact Us" section below.

Resin, plastic materials compression test

Due to the device equipped with a constant temperature chamber, compression tests at various temperatures are possible!

We would like to introduce the "Compression Test" conducted at Ronbic Co., Ltd. This test applies compressive force to resin materials and measures various physical properties such as compressive strength and compressive modulus. We also have a temperature-controlled chamber, allowing tests to be conducted under desired temperature conditions. Additionally, we can perform compression tests on non-standard product shapes and measure compressive strain by attaching strain gauges. Test results can also be provided in electronic data format. 【Test Conditions】 ■ Test Temperature: -60℃ to 200℃ ■ Load Cell Capacity: 50N, 1kN, 20kN ■ Applicable Standards: JIS K7181 ISO604 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

ISO 8611 Pallet Leg Compression Test

We will conduct a pallet leg compression test in accordance with the provisions specified in ISO 8611.

Our company conducts compression tests for the legs of the pallets listed below in accordance with the testing methods specified in ISO 8611. This test is similar to the JIS test, but there are slight differences, such as the size of the material used for top compression. Additionally, while the JIS Z 0602 pallet tests only specify four test items, ISO 8611 categorizes them into the following three main groups, with each group further subdivided into specific test items. 1. Nominal load tests (Top/Bottom Bending, Forklifting, Compression for Block, Stacking, etc.) 2. Maximum working load tests (Top/Bottom/Airbag Bending, Forklifting, Stacking, etc.) 3. Durability tests (Static shear, Corner drop, Shear/Block/Top deck edge impact, etc.) ▼ For more details, please download the PDF materials.

Tensile and compression test

We will evaluate the "strength," which is a "mechanical property" that serves as an important indicator.

The "Tensile and Compression Test" is a material test that evaluates "strength" within the information of "mechanical properties" for metal products and components. Materials have different properties depending on their types. It measures how much durability they have against external forces and environments such as tension, compression, and shear. The data obtained from the measurements is referred to as "mechanical properties" and serves as an important indicator for evaluating the processing methods of materials and the durability of processed products. [Test Methods] ■ Room Temperature Test ■ High-Temperature Test ■ Compression-Torsion Test *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Tensile and compression tests of biomaterials (gels, spheroids, etc.)

It enables compression tests of microscale spheroids and gels, as well as tensile and compression tests of biological samples (tendons and cartilage) in liquid.

The "MicroTester" is capable of performing compression tests on spheroids, gels, microbeads, and other materials sized approximately 50 to 500 µm. The "UniVert" can conduct tensile and compression tests (with an optional three-point bending test) using a single unit. By adding an optional liquid measurement bath, it allows for measurements in liquid both vertically and horizontally. The "BioTester" is a dual-axis tensile testing machine. It secures samples with a tool resembling a rake and can pull in two directions while measuring the force. 【Achievements】 ■ Used in a paper by the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Osaka University for measuring the contraction force of iPS cardiac tissue. ■ Used in a paper by the Department of Ophthalmology at Sapporo Medical University for measuring the hardness of spheroids. ■ Used for measuring the hardness of microbeads at a major bioreactor manufacturer. ■ Used for measuring the hardness of gels at a major pharmaceutical manufacturer. 【Features】 ■ The dedicated software allows for setting the time for loading, holding, and unloading. ■ The standard camera enables synchronization of data and images. ■ High-resolution cameras allow for strain mapping (optional for UniVert and BioTester). ■ Measurements can be conducted in liquid (optional for UniVert). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or contact us.
